Now You See It, Now You Don't...
The actual Guilford Courthouse (said to have been little more than a glorified log cabin at the time) has long since disappeared.
The consensus among many archaeologists and historians, though, is that it stood in this very spot. Being aware of this at the time, I was reminded of the poem Ozymandias when I shot the photo.
