Not-So-Loose Cannon
One of the many artillery pieces on display at Kennesaw Mountain. Heavy weapons aren't my area, by any stretch of the imagination. The powers that be at the park don't see fit to put identifying plaques around the pieces, so I have no idea what make or model it is.
All I can say for certain is that it's cast bronze. "Eyballing" the bore diameter suggested that it was a six-pounder (it was considerably smaller than the "Napoleon" twelve-pounder inside the museum).
